In this week’s interview, you’ll learn these principles from one of Australia’s most successful Sales Coaches.

This Week’s Episode

Josh Phegan is an international speaker, trainer and coach for high performance real estate agents and agencies throughout the world.

In 2014 he spoke at more than 200 events across Australia, New Zealand US and the UK and he personally coaches over 180 individual agents.

Many of his coaching clients now rank as some of the highest producing Real Estate agents, including his number one client – who writes a staggering $4m in fees per annum.

After working with thousands of Sales Professionals, Josh shares the 7 Habits that he sees displayed in those who are achieving the greatest success.

The 7 Habits of Highly Successful Sales Professionals

1. Clarity and Focus

Where do you want to be in the next 5, 10 or even 15 years?

When you have financial resources it gives you the ability to amplify your life’s purpose.

How do you provide a million dollars worth of service to your clients?

You need to establish the income levels for your Safety, your Comfort and your Entrepreneurial plans.

2. Systems-Based

How are you going to achieve the number of sales transactions you need this month?

A system is a replicatable process that if I do this time and time again it will bring about a predictable result.

Learn what successful people have done and copy this.

Build long term relationships over time with your clients.

Employ people to do those tasks that you don’t need to do yourself.

3. Momentum

Momentum is a powerful force that can change how you feel.

You don’t have to employ someone for a year – just start employing them for one quarter and build from there.

What level of success do you have to get to, to be able to afford to pay someone else to do what you don’t want or need to do?

Momentum is one great decision followed by another great decision.

You need momentum in your sales, your fitness and your health.

4. High Productivity

If you have a great task list, it will have a huge impact on your productivity.

Make a list of the next five people you’d like to do business with.

Use a timer to break your day up into 45 minute increments.

Remove the excuses that are holding you back.

5. High Energy and Self-Management

You have to apply the discipline in the areas of your life that matter.

Find your purpose and then stick to it.

Photograph everything you eat for a week to see how you’re looking after your health.

6. Daily Consistent Rituals

Establish routines that enable you to be as successful as possible for when you eat, when you train and when you interact.

Prospect in the morning…have appointments in the afternoon.

7. Excellent Customer Service

You must be willing to serve your clients.

How can I anticipate my customers needs…and then meet those needs?

Learn how to be ‘present’ in the moment with your clients.

Success Quote of the Week

“Try not to become a man of success…but a man of value.”

Albert Einstein
